The whole thing — design, build, hosting, domain, support and changes — for one fee that starts at £45 a month, with nothing to pay before it goes live.
Why this exists
The traditional way to buy a website is to pay for it all upfront. Somewhere between £2,000 and £6,000 for a small business site, before you have seen a single enquiry come through it. Then hosting on top, then a bill every time you need the opening hours changed.
For a business with a marketing budget that is fine. For a sole trader, a new practice, or a shop that has just signed a lease in a city with Oxford’s commercial rents, it is the reason the website keeps getting put off another year.
Paying monthly removes the upfront barrier. You get a properly built site working for you from month one, and the cost sits in your outgoings like your phone bill or your insurance — predictable, and small enough not to need a board meeting.
What you actually get for the monthly fee
Everything needed to have a working website, which is more than most people expect:
- The design and the build. Made for your business, not a template with your logo dropped into it.
- The domain name. Registered in your name, renewed by us, yours to take if you leave.
- UK hosting and SSL. Fast servers, the padlock in the address bar, and the certificate renewed automatically before it expires.
- Daily backups and security monitoring. If something goes wrong we notice, usually before you do.
- Google Business Profile setup. Correctly categorised, correctly located, and matching your site exactly.
- Changes every month. One to four hours depending on the plan — enough for the normal life of a small business site.
- Support from a person. A direct number and an email address that reaches someone who knows which site is yours.
The catch, stated plainly
There are two, and we would rather you heard them here than found them in a contract.
There is a 12-month minimum term. We build the entire site before you have paid us anything substantial, so the first year is how that cost gets recovered. After twelve months it rolls on monthly and you can leave with 30 days’ notice.
You are renting the site, not buying it, until you buy it out. The domain is always yours. The site itself becomes yours if you pay a buy-out figure, which reduces the longer you have been with us. If owning it outright from day one matters to you, buy it outright instead — we do that too, and we will tell you if we think it suits you better.

The honest counterpoint: keep paying past year three or four and the monthly route costs more in raw cash than a cheap upfront build would have. What you are buying with that difference is a site that is still fast, still current, still secure and still supported — rather than one nobody has touched since launch.

What it costs
Pay-monthly plans run from £45 a month for a five-page site up to £120 a month for an online shop — design, build, hosting, support and monthly changes all included, with nothing to pay upfront.
Prefer to own it? One-off builds start at £1495.
Questions about paying monthly
Is this a lease or a credit agreement?
Neither. It is a rolling service contract, like your accountant or your phone plan. There is no finance company involved, no credit check, and nothing reported to a credit agency.
What happens if I stop paying?
We will chase you like a human being first — things go wrong and cards expire. If payments stop for good, the site comes down after due notice and the domain stays yours.
We do not delete anything for at least 90 days, so there is time to sort it out.
Can I pay a year in advance?
Yes, and we will knock a month off if you do. Ask when you enquire.
Does the price go up?
Not during your minimum term. After that we may adjust prices annually, and you would get at least 30 days’ notice — enough to leave if you did not want to accept it.
Who owns the content and images?
You own your text, your logo and your photographs — always, including anything we write for you. Stock images are licensed for use on your site.
